InBody Body Composition Analysis in Fairfax

Muscle mass, body fat percentage, visceral fat, hydration — a real baseline and real progress tracking, not just a number on a scale.

We use InBody technology to measure much more than body weight — muscle mass, body fat percentage, visceral fat, hydration, and other key body-composition metrics. These assessments give us a real baseline and let us track meaningful progress over time, not just a number on a scale.

Why the Scale Alone Misleads

Two people can weigh exactly the same and be in completely different shape. When you're strength training, the scale can hold still while muscle goes up and fat comes down — which looks like "no progress" unless you're measuring what actually changed. That's what the InBody shows.

Your first analysis happens at your Complimentary Intro Session, and follow-up scans track your progress as you train.

“So far, I've gained muscle, lost fat, improved my balance, and met some fun people in sessions with me.”

— Susan, Alloy Fairfax City member

Results come from the training itself — see how small group personal training works, or read how to build muscle after 50.

Common Questions

What happens at my first session?

Your first visit is a complimentary Intro Session at our studio at 10258 Main St. You'll talk through your goals and health history with a coach, complete a functional movement assessment and an InBody body composition analysis, and finish with an introductory workout scaled to you — then we recommend the membership that actually fits.

Who is Alloy for — and who is it not for?

Our members are mostly adults 40+ who want to stay strong, capable, and independent — people training for life, not for a competition. If you're after a high-intensity bootcamp scene or a fitness-fanatic gym, we're happily not that.
